About the Journal

Research is one of the main activities in the University. Every University student carryout research in their chosen field of specialization before graduation. This is aimed at developing in them, the skill to identify problems and seek out solutions towards building a better society. Faculty of Education, Nnamdi Azikiwe University is committed to guiding and mentoring her graduates through rigorous research processes aimed at seeking solutions to the many challenges confronting the educational system and the society at large. To consolidate this effort, the Faculty further lunched the Unizik Journal of Education Graduates (UJEG) to harvest most innovative and credible outcomes of the research processes. A team of seasoned editors thoroughly scrutinize and select credibly articulated innovative ideas/knowledge resulting from the research, which are considered apt in meeting the present/future educational and societal needs. This Journal is a harvest of such articles.

UJEG is published annually and released at the Unizik annual Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria’s  (TRCN) Induction and Oath Taking ceremony. It is meant to encourage Education graduates to conduct credible research and develop early writing skills for research reporting through the mentorship of their supervisors.

The Editorial Board is not relenting in her resolve to satisfy the yearnings of authors and readers. The Board is committed to ensure that works published in this Journal meet both academic and professional standards. The Board appreciates all the contributors and is deeply thankful to the Dean, Faculty of Education, Prof. Vivian N. Nwogbo for her support in seeing to the successful production of this Journal.
